Our Story

The building that Christines occupies dates back to 1773. It was originally a grist mill named Seifrets Grist Mill. Later on it was converted into a knitting mill in the late 1800s and it was a Speak Easy during prohibition. It remained a country bar until the Babb family purchased it in 1976 and converted into a nice sit down restaurant and bar called The Old Mill Inn. Doug Delong the current owner and executive chef worked @ The Old Mill from the early 90s until it closed in 2001. A couple tenants occupied the building for various uses for 6 years after the original Old Mill closed. Doug Delong came back in 2007 and renovated the property and reopened in 2008 with the original Old Mill Inn recipes and ambiance along with some touches from his wife Christine. Currently Doug is the executive Chef and has added some items to the menu and added a Pub menu, and added his wife's name to the building. Doug's love of food, history, and a beautiful location makes Christines Creekside Inn your ultimate dining or wedding destination.
